    Be patient. You may need to wait several weeks before you see a change in your page rank, and it takes a lot of backlinks to even get to PR1, so don’t link network just for PR. Link network for links!

    And don’t become obsessed with PR. It’s important to your site’s position on a Google SERP, but so is your relevance score, and you can get much faster feedback on relevance. A low PR site can outperform a high PR site easily if it’s got a higher relevance score for the keyword being searched. Having a high PR is useless if you don’t have the keyword relevance to back it up!
